Demographics

Hope youth Ranch provides services to male adolescents, ages eight to seventeen, who have mild to severe emotional, behavioral and/or family disturbances. More severe emotional psychiatric, delinquency problems may be considered, depending upon the child’s overall social and behavioral profile. Hope Youth Ranch is currently licensed to serve 78 male residents, ages 8-17, inclusive.

Level of Care

Hope Youth Ranch provides care to high risk or severe level adolescents. Criteria for placement is considered on a case by case basis. Mild to severe emotional behavioral and/or family disturbances are considered to be appropriate for placement. More severe emotional, psychotic, delinquency problems are also considered. Hope Youth Ranch also considers child characteristics exceptions such as suicide attempts, fire-setting, sexual misconduct, and assaultive behaviors on a case by case basis for admission.
